Carrie Lever was raised in Central and South America. She has been practicing astrology since 1981. In 1996, she was certified to consult as an astrologer from the National Council for Geocosmic Research. In 2000, she obtained a master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania. She trained and worked for Child Guidance in Philadelphia.
She is a member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) and The American Federation of Astrologers (AFAN). She regularly attends both astrology and therapy conferences to stay connected with both fields that she finds inseparable to her practice.
She enjoys working in private consultation with her clients as well as teaching in small groups. She has a strong belief in showing people their strengths, challenges and working with them to develop survival tools to feel more connected with their life. She has a home office and has phone clientele across the country. She has lectured at the Noetic Friends Society in Fort Washington, PA on the value of using astrology as a therapeutic intervention. Over the past six years, she has taught Basic Astrology for Self Awareness at Montgomery Community College in Blue Bell, PA. Carrie enjoys researching political world events. Her work has been published by Newsday, president@whitehouse.gov, and Llewellyn World Wide. Her forecast of terrorism prior to 911 brought numerous government officials to her site. Carrie continues to be asked to write on her astrological views of world events. It is a growing new avenue for her.
